I spent the last week in Washington D.C. at the annual NADOHE Conference for Chief Diversity Officers working on college campuses across the nation. NADOHE stands for the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education. After the conference, I spent seven hours touring the new Museum of African American History and Culture, the newest of the Smithsonian museums located on the mall.
